About Moxi Laser Treatments
Benefits of The Sciton Moxi Laser
Moxi Laser is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser that provides comprehensive skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime. It is designed to refresh, revitalize, and protect your skin, making it an excellent choice for those looking to prevent early signs of aging or maintain a youthful complexion.
1. Improves Skin Texture and Tone
Moxi helps refine rough, uneven skin texture by stimulating collagen production and accelerating cell turnover. It smooths the skin’s surface, reducing the appearance of fine lines, enlarged pores, and mild textural irregularities, resulting in a more polished and youthful look.
2. Reduces Pigmentation and Sun Damage
This laser treatment effectively targets sunspots, age spots, and uneven pigmentation caused by sun exposure or environmental stressors. By promoting skin renewal, Moxi helps fade hyperpigmentation, melasma, and brown spots, leaving the skin with a more even and radiant tone.
3. Safe for All Skin Types and Tones
Unlike some lasers that are best suited for lighter skin tones, Moxi is safe for all skin types and ethnicities. Its gentle technology minimizes the risk of hyperpigmentation, making it an ideal choice for individuals looking for a year-round, preventative skincare treatment without the risk of excessive downtime.
4. Stimulates Collagen Production
By creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin, Moxi triggers the body’s natural healing response, increasing collagen and elastin production. This strengthens the skin’s foundation, leading to firmer, plumper, and more resilient skin over time.
5. Treats Early Signs of Aging
Moxi is a perfect “prejuvenation” treatment, meaning it helps delay the signs of aging before they become more pronounced. By encouraging ongoing skin renewal, it keeps fine lines, wrinkles, and laxity at bay, making it an excellent long-term investment in your skin.
6. Helps with Acne Scars and Post-Inflammatory Pigmentation
Moxi can improve the appearance of mild acne scars and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) by resurfacing the skin and promoting new, healthy skin growth. It’s a great option for individuals looking to reduce discolouration and refine uneven skin texture caused by past breakouts.
7. Minimal Downtime and Comfortable Treatment Experience
One of the Moxi Laser’s biggest advantages is its low-downtime approach. The treatment typically results in mild redness and a “sandpaper” texture for a few days, but there is no need for extensive recovery. Most clients can return to their normal routine within 24-48 hours while still experiencing noticeable improvements in their skin over time.
Whether you’re looking to reverse sun damage, maintain youthful skin, or enhance your natural glow, Moxi is a versatile and effective laser treatment that delivers noticeable, long-lasting results with minimal downtime.
Moxi Treatments are $650 for 1 treatment, or 2 treatments for $1000

The Ultimate Skin Rejuvenation Duo
For even more dramatic results, Moxi Treatments can be bundled with BBL—combining the power of light-based skin correction with laser resurfacing to enhance collagen renewal, refine texture, and achieve a radiant, even-toned glow. Together, they create the ultimate skin rejuvenation duo.
Moxi and BBL work together to transform skin from the inside out, making them the perfect combination for anyone looking to refresh, brighten, and smooth their complexion. Moxi is a fractional laser treatment that gently resurfaces the skin, promoting collagen production and improving texture, while BBL (BroadBand Light) targets discoloration, redness, and uneven skin tone using powerful light energy. When paired, these treatments address multiple skin concerns at once—BBL corrects pigmentation and sun damage on the surface, while Moxi stimulates deep skin renewal to refine pores, soften fine lines, and boost overall radiance. This dual approach enhances results beyond what either treatment can achieve alone, leading to smoother, clearer, and more youthful-looking skin with minimal downtime. Whether you want to combat early signs of aging, fade stubborn discolouration, or achieve an overall glow-up, Moxi + BBL delivers comprehensive skin rejuvenation that looks as good as it feels.
Moxi + BBL is $900 for one treatment, or $1,500 for two
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I prepare for my treatment?
Moxi is safe for all skin types, as well as in presence of tan; however please avoid direct sun exposure for 2–4 weeks before treatment and wear SPF.
Discontinue active skincare – Stop using retinol, AHAs/BHAs, vitamin C, and exfoliants for 3–5 days before your appointment.
Pause other treatments – Avoid chemical peels, microneedling, or laser treatments in the same area for at least 2 weeks prior.
No self-tanner – Make sure there is no self-tanner on the area being treated.
Clean skin – Come with a bare face (no makeup, lotions, or SPF).
Cold sores – If you’re prone to cold sores and treating around the mouth, ask your provider if you should start a preventive antiviral medication.
What’s the process and how long will it last?
MOXI is a quick and comfortable laser treatment that typically takes 30 to 45 minutes from start to finish. Here’s what to expect:
- Cleansing: Your provider will cleanse your skin to remove any makeup, sunscreen, or oils.
- Numbing (Optional): A topical numbing cream may be applied for added comfort.
- Laser Treatment: The MOXI laser will be passed over your skin, delivering controlled energy to stimulate collagen and cell turnover.
- Post-Treatment Care: A soothing serum or exosomes may be applied to enhance healing.
You may experience mild redness and a warm sensation immediately after treatment, similar to a sunburn.
Will it hurt?
MOXI is designed to be a gentle and well-tolerated laser treatment. Most clients describe the sensation as mild heat with a slight tingling feeling. A topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand to enhance comfort, but many people find they don’t need it.
How long is the recovery period?
MOXI has minimal downtime, making it a great option for those with busy schedules. After treatment:
- Your skin may be red and feel warm for a few hours.
- By day 2-3, a rough, sandpaper-like texture (called “micro-dots”) may form as your skin heals. This is normal and will shed naturally over 5-7 days.
- You can wear makeup within 24 hours, but it’s best to let your skin breathe for optimal healing.
When will I see results?
Results develop gradually as your skin heals and regenerates. Many clients start noticing brighter, smoother skin within 5-7 days, with continued improvements over the next 4-6 weeks as collagen production increases.
For the best long-term results, a series of 3-4 MOXI treatments is typically recommended.
What are the after-care instructions?
To maximize your results and promote proper healing:
Use Sun Protection: Apply SPF 30+ daily for several weeks. Moisturize your skin to support healing. Avoid Heat & Intense Activity for 24-48 hours. Don’t Pick at Skin: Mild dryness or flaking is normal. Makeup: Can resume after 48 hrs No actives for 7 days post treatment No hot tubs, saunas or pools for 72 hours
No treatment is an eraser; our skin is a living organ. Over time, vascularities, sun spot or other pigmented conditions may reoccur, requiring future treatments.Downtime: immediately you may experience mild swelling and redness similar to a sunburn, light peeling or skin flakiness, if treating sunspots you may notice darkening of pigment before they slough off in roughly 7-10 days
How often should I get this treatment?
This can be done 1-2 times a year, or as needed. We usually recommend spacing them 4 – 6 weeks apart. For treatment of melasma, 3-6 treatments may be required, depending on complimentary therapies and severity of melasma.
Who should NOT get this treatment?
MOXI is not suited for everyone; your safety is our priority, and as such, if you have any of the following conditions, we do not recommend proceeding.
- Active skin infections (cold sores, active acne breakouts)
- Severe rosacea or inflammatory skin conditions (eczema, dermatitis)
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
