what is scarring?

Most people will already understand that a scar is a mark left on the skin after an injury has healed, because when your skin gets cut, burned, or damaged, your body works to repair it by producing new tissue. What’s unique about scar tissue is that it’s made up of collagen, a protein that helps close the wound. This repair process doesn’t always match the look and feel of the surrounding skin, leading to a noticeable mark or scar. Scars can vary in appearance, size, and colour, depending on the severity of the injury and how your unique body heals.

Glow Bar Peels are also available; these treatments use a chemical solution to exfoliate the top layers of skin, promoting the regeneration of smoother, less scarred skin.
